Studying for the MCSA.
You gain MCSA certification once you have passed 4 MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) exams. If you are familiar with the Microsoft Windows platform and use operating systems, servers and networks on a daily basis you should expect to take between 2-4 months to complete the MCSA.
For those that are new to the IT industry or are looking change or start a new career you should allow slightly longer study time. There is a lot to learn and it covers many subjects and as with all other professions there is no quick fix to becoming qualified, beginners should allow up to six months to complete the MCSA.

What’s the salary for an MCSA?
The MCSA certification will help to increase your value in the workplace and qualify your IT skills. With a couple of years experience you would expect to earn £25-35k and the average wage for a MCSA in the UK is £38,00.
